A New State for the U.S.?

I found this ad in a newspaper when I was in Hawaii a few weeks ago.

Look closely at all of the states that are listed....

Clearly, we're trying to colonize you in a subtle way...

A deeper investigation into this would be interesting. I wonder if it was some sort of joke or an interesting advertising ploy. It is getting more attention than if it were just the states and will probably be posted all around the blogosphere. I wonder how they got 22 identical clones to pose for the photo too? :)

Why does this not suprise me! Although as I get older I'm becoming more of a global citizen as opposed to a patriot of one particular country. I just wish I could pick and choose from the best policies in each country..;)

Must have happened while we were sleeping....
