Boy Scouts and Copyright

It seems as if the lessons of Captain Copyright here in Canada were not picked up South of the border.

Boy Scouts in the Los Angeles area will soon be able to earn a merit badge for learning about copyright and the evils of downloading material off of the net.

Teaching information ethics to digital natives? Not a terrible idea, except for the fact that the curriculum has been designed by the Motion Picture Association of America...... Do you think there is adequate information included about Creative Commons and troubles with DRM?

Talk about insider trading....
