BookMooch

I'm not sure when it launched, but BookMooch looks like an interesting idea. As a person who absolutely loves touring around through used bookstores just for the serendipity of what might be found, this looks like a fun site.

Basically, you create an account and upload a list of books that you have to give away. Each time someone requests  a book from you, you get a point which you can then cash in for a book from someone else. A free exchange service. Run by the same person who runs the Creative Commons mp3 site Magnatune.
